Το 1959  ο Αντώνης Σαμαράκης κυκλοφορούσε το βιβλίο του με τίτλο ´Σήμα κινδύνου ¨.Διάβασα το βιβλίο το 1984 πριν η Ελληνική κοινωνία βυθιστεί στον πολτό της ευδαιμονικής κατανάλωσης.  Σήμερα που το ξαναδιαβάζω, είναι για μένα η απόλυτη προφητεία για το που βρισκόμαστε. Τα Παλμικά κύματα διηγούνται μια ιστορία , με αφορμή αυτό το βιβλίο αλλά και αυτό που μου είχε γράψει σαν αφιέρωση όταν τον συνάντησα για να μου υπογράψει το αντίτυπο που είχα αγοράσει..."Στον Βασίλη , για μια ανθρωπότητα λιγότερο απάνθρωπη, Μαρούσι , Φεβρουάριος του ´84".

In physics "Horror Vacui", or plenism, is a theory first proposed by Aristotle in the Fourth book of Physics and states that nature abhors a vacuum, and therefore empty space would always be trying to suck in gas or liquids to avoid being empty. Pulsed waves built a story around it revealed only at the end...

17th Show - "The ripples must be endless"

Tonight 's show was  inspired by a short fiction story written back in 1957 by. Philip K. Dick , titled " The Adjustment Team" . In 2010 the movie " The Adjustment Bureau", starring Matt Damon,  hit the  screens and was based on that story. Pulsed waves tell that story somehow differently. This is a famous line from the 1938 French film "Le Quai des Brumes"

15th Show - "Sunset Blvd. Revisited"

The story follows the life of struggling young Hollywood screenwriter , named Joe, as he is ensnared by Norma, a long-forgotten silent-film star  into being her kept man. The film begins with a scene of Joe's dead body floating in the swimming pool of Norma's palatial mansion on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood before flashing back to the beginning of the story's events.
Pulsed Waves present an edited version of this story and although the film was nominated for eleven Academy Awards and won three , I simply hope that you like the show the way is presented. Till next time, here's the playlist:

Show number three! Took place around midnight in Downtown Athens on MUSICSOCIETY Web Radio Station.

Nothing started on time and nothing ended on time. I'm a bit dissappointed though cause the ending was a bit lame. I mumbled twice which was quite frustrating! Some problems with the sound. I should have my mind set on it next time because quality between vinyls varies... and sometimes varies a lot! Thinking seriously  switching to CDs.
Other than that OK.
Ilias whipped my ass once more having more listeners than I did. So far the score is 2 - nil...
Thinking about switching to metal... Noooo!! Just joking! I know nothing about metal.
Both shows though had live audience, which is encouraging. The studio was crowded!!
